This is a real hand-made original portrait on cradled panel, painted with artist quality acrylic paints. It is not digital!
You will get a unique hand-painted work of fine art, not just a replica of your photograph. I will add my own artistic style to your fine art painting while achieving a likeness and capturing the essence of your pet. I work from your digital photo and I will ask to see additional photos to get that special sense of your pet. I can also work from digital photos taken of older pictures. If you only have an old school photo that you love, take a digital photo of it! I can work with that.
To start your fine art pet portrait painting, I will ask for a deposit of 50%. Make your down- payment from the drop-down menu below. Then send me your favorite photo of your pet. Or email me first with any questions at andreagoldsmithart@gmail.com. The painting will be a head only square format view to emphasize the features of the face. Your photo does not have to be just of the face, or even a square. I will crop your photo and and send you what I think will make the best portrait. Once we agree on the composition, I will begin!
Send me your largest file with good lighting. I can paint any type of animal. Send me your birds, horses, fish, and reptiles as well as your cats and dogs!
When I have nearly finished the painting, I will send you a photo for your comments and I can make small adjustments. Once I have your approval, I will ship the painting to you with FREE SHIPPING in the United States.
